First Bus Ride with a New Ticket

By Wilbur Corncob at 08/19/08 08:27
, transportation: NEW GPS Based Bus Ticket Receipts
Yesterday, I got my first bus ticket that was electronically issued. I paid cash, but maybe soon we'll be able to prepay and just scan the card.

The new tickets are much larger than the old ones so you might not have to go scrounging for it on those rare occasions that an inspector asks to see it. It also offers such "useful" information as the time and date as well what what bus stop you got the ticket at (thanks to their GPS system).
