Uruguay is a warm country. Hot springs gush from the earth and you can enjoy these at several resorts around the country. The temperate of these springs remains at around 104F all year! But don't confuse the year round temperatures with the winter temps which get to freezing. Uruguay is not for everyone. It is not for sissies. It is a developing country. If you can get a Uruguyan passport this is definitely an asset for the international traveller. Link: Expat: moving to Uruguay, Uruguay forum
