 It was 3 years ago that I announced the first meeting of expats at Old Maz Restaurant in Montevideo. My big mistake was announcing it as a meeting for Americans... and soon changed it to English speaking expats as we always get an interesting and multi-national group.Each Sunday brings a different mix of people, expats, Uruguayans and tourists. It offers a not only a great opportunity to share information, but to ask questions and learn about different cultures.... there are always people who have lived in or visited different parts of the world.
