Photogallery: The gallery wants to show the different types of looks from local photographers in the first half of the twentieth century. The center has more than 400 photos of Parque Rodo, mostly dating from the late 19th century and the 1960s.
The Photo Parque Rodo (Gonzalo Rodriguez and Juan Antonio Ramirez) can be visited every day, every hour.

National Narrative Prize: The Foundation Rubial Lolita "and the Municipality of Lavalleja, in accordance with Ediciones de la Banda Oriental, convenes, the 17th National Narrative Prize.

This competition is open to all Uruguayan writers, and foreigners residing more than three years. All texts must be in Spanish language and must be unpublished work. It may be a collection of short stories or a novel.

The deadline for submission of works, expires on March 12, 2010 at 17:00.
Place to deliver the works: Foundation Rubial Lolita "- House of Culture CP: 30.000 - Minas Lavalleja, or Ediciones de la Banda Oriental - Gaboto 1582 CP: 11.200 - Montevideo.

Visual Arts Competition (SCULPTURES) Commemorating the fiftieth anniversary FLOOD, 1959: 
UTE,  call contest to plastic artists, to make a sculpture in honor of all those who participated in the reconstruction of the city of Paso de los Toros and the bonnet central Rincon after the floods of 1959. Project delivery. Until 30 September 2009.
