Not to lucky in a taxi cab...

A couple days ago I wrote about my surprise to find that the bus fares in Montevideo went DOWN.
Last night I grabbed a cab from the mall to home and noticed they had a October 2007 rate chart... unfortunately it looks like the taxi rates went up about 10%.
It's still a good deal and unlike some other countries the taxi drivers normally go by the meter and the official rates and it is rare for them to try and go a round about way.
